MatchU.Me was Tinder before Tinder. Deemed "Columbia's digital wingman", MatchU.Me connected secret admirers. The hope was to remove the anxiety out of dating, and unrequited love. Only when both parties expressed a mutual interest was the match revealed. For the bold, there was a tool to bypass the traditional matching process to explicity indicate interest. Additionally, there was a utility to allow one-way matches to communicate with their crushes, through a secret-admirers channel. If the crush recipient sent back a 'reveal request' to the anonymous sweetheart, and he/she accepted, then the anonymous-lover's identity is revealed. Additionally, there was a most-matchable feed to showcase the most desired users in order to add to the gamification aspect. Most importantly, MatchU.Me was exclusive, and solely intended for the Columbia community.
